We're happy to let Seattleites know that we'll be flying up there a few days after we return to the U.S.A. to play at set at Seattle's Georgetown Music Fest on June 3rd. Date added to the list below.

Greetings from England. We're currently in the middle of a European tour celebrating the release of "Black Sheep Boy" and "Black Sheep Boy Appendix" as a double album including all Will Schaff artwork, two videos, and an extra song. Remaining dates for the tour are posted below (also remember that Jagjaguwar always has the most up-to-date Okkervil River tour schedule). Come on out and see us, we'll be playing for the first time in Europe as a six-piece, doing some songs we've never played live before to boot. "It’s true, folks, I have strep throat. I’m really sorry that we had to cancel San Diego; there was pretty much no sound coming out of my mouth, and what did come out hurt like hell. We canceled just a handful of hours before the gig – that’s why there was no advance warning. I went to a doctor and she gave me a gigantic bottle of antibiotics and some vocal steroids which are supposed to strengthen my voice (and are also supposed to make me angry and make my face look “puffy,” so if you see me looking angry and puffy-faced, that’s why).
That said, at the time of this writing we are still suicidally determined that the show must go on, so tonight we’re going onstage in L.A. to see just how much performance-enhancing drugs can enhance one’s performance, and to see if there are any harmful side-effects from mixing them with lots of alcohol and caffeine. Come on out, for the sheer terrifying spectacle of it if nothing else.
Also, we’re taking requests for this tour, and they can be sent to the e-mail address requests@jound.com. Sets are filling up fast, so send those requests in soon. If you can, though, try to limit them to one or two – we’ve been getting a few e-mails for, like, 15 songs."
